For the Authors

  • Please ensure all submissions are completed before the due dates (see Important Dates)

  • The authors must submit all abstracts and full papers via email to TELab@uwindsor.ca. We recommend copying the conference chair (dting@uwindsor.ca) and program chair (vaselbehagh@usf.edu). The conference organizers will send you a receipt note within 24 hours. Please follow up with us if you have not received such notice.

  • Upon submitting an abstract, the authors must clearly indicate whether they plan to submit a full paper or if their submission is an abstract only. Abstract-only submissions must also be presented orally at the conference; however, such works will not be considered for the conference proceedings or any of our books or special issues.

  • CEA conferences have Student Poster Sessions for students who wish to present their research as posters instead of oral presentations. When submitting their abstracts, student authors who plan to present their work in the Poster Session must include "Student Poster Session" in the email's subject. Please note that poster presentations are only for abstracts with a student on the author team. Also, note that you can present your work as a poster or an oral presentation. If you intend to present both a poster and an oral presentation, the content of the material discussed must differ for each presentation.

  • The review process is blind, and the conference editors/chairs will not reveal the reviewers to the authors.

  • The authors must prepare their abstracts and full papers using the following templates.

For the Reviewers

  • Please use the following template to report your review to the editors/chairs.

Acceptance Standards

  • The authors must properly format the paper following the conference template.

  • The paper topic should interest the Cleaner Earth and Atmosphere Conference participants.

  • The paper must clearly express the significant contribution(s).

  • The paper should be written in clear and understandable English.

  • It must satisfy one of the following:
    1) Present new methods or novel applications of existing methods
    2) Propose new processes, designs, technologies, policies, perspectives, or procedures or significantly enhance the existing ones

For Session Chair

  • Please be in the room a few minutes before the allocated time for the session.

  • Meet with your presenters in your session room.
  • During the break before your session, please ask the authors to upload their slides to the session room's computer and ensure the files run without technical difficulties.

  • Establish time-keeping rules to ensure the session ends on time.

  • Please open the session by briefly introducing yourself and welcoming the audience.

  • Please manage the session by keeping to the schedule, introducing each presenter, controlling the timing of presentations, and managing Q&A.

  • Please read your session's papers and be ready to ask opening questions if the audience is silent.

  • Please close the session by telling the audience about the next session, as well as thanking the presenters and the audience.
